The Economy 7 Inn Chesapeake, Portsmouth provided anice and neat room that met my work needs. The staff was responsive, accommodating special requests promptly. The Wi-Fi was reliable, which allowed me to efficiently attend to business emails and tasks .

Outstanding value. Everything clean and in good repair, comfortable bed & linens, room very well equipped for the price ... fridge, coffee machine, safe for valuables, Wi-Fi, flat screen tv with lots of channels. Very accomodating management.

Flickering fluorescent bulb in bathroom. I could have asked for a fix, but didn't bother. A little farther from where I was working, but not bad.

The location was convenient.

I booked a specific room online with a specified rate. When I got to the hotel the type of room I booked was not available at all in that facility at all and I paid a higher price than what was quoted online as the full price, including tax and fees. The thing that bothered me the most was the room set up. I booked a king room and when I got there they put me and my husband in a double bed room, I don't know about most people but I prefer to sleep in the same bed as my husband. They pretty much ruined my whole birthday weekend. Nothing was as I booked it and if I would have known that ahead of time I would have never booked this hotel for the purpose it was suppose to serve!

The room was spacious and had a cozy corner with a microwave and refrigerator, perfect for a family. The air conditioning worked great, keeping us comfortable. We loved the complimentary WiFi, easy to plan our daily outings.

Could use some updates in decor.

Asked for a double room and it was spotless and brand-new on the non-smoking floors. The amenities included central heating, multi-channel television and a microwave.

i truly enjoyed the room on the non-smoking floors, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. a flat-screen tv with cable channels, climate control and a microwave were all available. location: the hotel was just off williamsburg and virginia beach, and food places and shopping. there was sonic drive-in nearby to grab something to eat.

Charming, Charming, Charming

The atmosphere here was good! I loved howvery comfy and tidy my Economy Double Room was, it seemed like a cozy retreat. Plus, being close to the water was the cherry on top. The sunsets were amazing!

Very little choices for breakfast

We loved relaxing at the nearby beach with its beautiful white sands, and we had a blast exploring the local shops and dining spots. Plus, we took advantage of the activities at the marina. The staff was friendly and the place felt okay all time for our group.

The walls in the hallway painted a dark green color felt a bit claustrophobic, uncomfortable at times.

I didn't find much to rave about except for the nearby eateries like Waffle House and Captain D's, perfect for comfort food cravings! It's convenient for quick bites after long days. Plus, location-wise, you're close to the water-Chesapeake's got that charm.

What a letdown! The room was filthy, seriously no complementary breakfast or even a proper juice machine! A missing smoke detector, broken vending machines, and sketchy safety with a window that wouldn't lock. Had me peeking out for unwanted visitors, no joke!

Conveniently located near eateries with clean bathrooms. The bed was firm and sheets fresh, made for a decent night's sleep.

The bathroom towels seemed old and a bit dingy, which didn't feel special for a hotel stay. I noticed some outdated furniture in the room. The room had some dust, made me question the housekeeping standards. No coffee or tea facilities in the room also seemed like a miss. While I enjoyed the location and ease of access to food, I wish the hotel staff paid more attention to cleanliness and comfort details.
